With 44.4 million customers since end-2021, we provide everyone with access to the internet and essential services by focusing on mobile coverage and improving network quality and speeds.

More than 6,000 Orange telecom sites are equipped with solar panels in Africa and the Middle East, supporting our goal of meeting 50% of our electricity needs from renewable sources by 2025.
We’ve already achieved this target in Guinea Conakry, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Madagascar. In Jordan, our three solar farms cover 73% of the energy needs of our technical sites.

More than one in two Africans live without access to electricity so we want to help overcome this challenge. Orange already offers “Energy kits” in 9 countries (with solar panel, battery and accessories) to individuals and professionals. These mobile solutions promote access to electricity through a sustainable energy source.

Launched in 2008 in Côte d'Ivoire, Orange Money is now available in 17 countries in Africa and the Middle East. The mobile payment service has more than 70 million customers, including 20 million active users each month.
At the end of April 2022, Orange Money accounted for €1.92 billion in transactions.
